My dear cousin Marc lost his battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) this morning.

He was more like a nephew to me and my sisters and brother.

I regret that I was not able to see him when I was up in New Hampshire in August.

The loss I am feeling is overwhelming.

My heart is broken.
